Perimenopause and Menopause
You can’t opt out of menopause—but you can opt out of suffering.
Millions of women are navigating this universal transition without support—silenced by stigma, drowned in misinformation, and told "you're too young for that" or "your labs look normal."
But symptoms like insomnia, brain fog, low libido, and weight shifts aren’t imaginary. They’re real, and so are the solutions.
Dr. Podgurecki's mission is to help women achieve optimal health and feel beautifully balanced throughout perimenopause and menopause.
No fluff. No fear. Just the truth your body’s been waiting for.
Because you can feel radiant after 40.
Vasomotor Symptoms:
They include hot flashes, night sweats, and sudden changes in body temperature — like feeling flushed, overheated, or waking up drenched in sweat. These symptoms happen because of shifts in hormone levels, especially estrogen, which affect how your body regulates temperature. Disrupted sleep affects mood, energy, cognition and can contribute to weight gain.
Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM):
GSM is caused by low estrogen levels during perimenopause and menopause. It affects the vaginal and urinary tissues, which become thinner, drier, and less elastic over time. Common Symptoms Include:
- Vaginal dryness, burning, or irritation - Pain with intimacy or pelvic exams
- Increased urinary urgency or frequency
- Recurrent urinary tract infections
- Changes in vaginal pH and discharge
These symptoms are treatable. You don’t have to live with discomfort, avoid intimacy, or feel embarrassed.
Menopause Hormone Therapy:
Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT), sometimes called HRT, is the practice of replacing the estrogen (and sometimes progesterone or testosterone) that your body gradually stops producing during perimenopause and menopause.
What Are the Benefits?
MHT can help relieve:
- Hot flashes and night sweats
- Sleep disruption and mood swings
- Vaginal dryness and urinary symptoms
- Brain fog and memory changes
- Bone loss and fracture risk
Beyond symptom relief, MHT also supports long-term health by lowering the risk of osteoporosis, heart disease and supports cognitive health. The earlier you start it, the better the long term benefits are.
Systemic HRT is not for everyone. And there are alternative options.
